Fire Department Report - April 2006
Dateline: May 29, 2006

The basic source for the below information was obtained from the Santa Rosa County Emergency Management Division, on 24 May 06.

Fire departments who achieved a 100% rating are congratulated on their (for us) success.

Those who did not are also congratulated on their continued improvement.

A- Station Number                               F- Medical no-response

B- Department name                          G- Other no-response

C- Total medical calls                         H- Total no-response

Column J denotes percentage of medical calls versus other calls

As you can see the average of medical calls is 66% of the total calls given to these VOLUNTEER fire departments.  In my opinion, this is NOT the reason that these departments were formed.  Take away the medical calls and allow these VOLUNTEERS to concentrate on their original mission.
